(by V-Twin Vineyards)
Santa Rosa, California
2009 Zinfandel
Our "Del Fava Family" label wines represent our version of 'reserve' wines - which are small lots of our hand-crafted wines from great local vineyards in the Alexander & Dry Creek Valleys.

This Zinfandel comes from the Teldeschi Vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley and is our biggest Zin yet!  This 2008 Del Fava Family Zinfandel is ripe with aromas of raspberry, plum, sage, and black pepper - leading to layers of blackberry, herbs, cedar and tobacco. The result is an ‘over-the-top’ style of Zinfandel that is a spicy, peppery wine, with hints of fruit flavors - raspberry and bing cherries - which is rich with tannins with a supple, lingering finish.
95% Zin & 5% Petit Sirah.

Aged 18 months in French oak Barrels  - this Zin will age gracefully for the next 6 - 8 years.

Heydon Road
(by Hillcrest)
Roseburg, Umpqua AVA, Oregon
2009 Tempranillo
Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cola, vanilla and tobacco. Boysenberry and cranberry flavors tussle among robust tannins and racy acidity. Enjoy now with marbled meats, but time in the cellar — thanks in part to managed alcohol — should also be rewarded.
2009 Cabernet Sauvignon
Gold Medal Winner
Hailing from one of Oregon’s oldest vineyards (Hillcrest, planted in 1961), this wine has “that old-vine stuffing.”  There’s just something about older vineyard fruit that can’t be duplicated or created in the cellar—this kind of complex and deep flavor comes with time. Raspberry cedary nose, light bodied in the mouth with nutmeg, banana creme pie and toasted oak flavors.  It finishes with a nice biting spice which fades in and then leaves you with some nice mouthwatering acids.  Enjoy rich, long flavors of black fruit with the complex bouquet found only in top-quality cabs.

hy.brid
Acampo, California
Certified Sustainable Lodi Appellation Vineyards
2012 Hybrid Pinot Noir
With a garnet ruby appearance and an extraordinary bouquet of wild flowers, this hy.brid Pinot Noir displays intense black cherry flavors with juicy plum undertones. Medium body tannins finish into a savory cherry chocolate liqueur.
~This Pinot Noir matches Duck, Pork, and other lightly flavored meats~
2007 Hybrid Petite Syrah
Our Petite Syrah is loaded with berry flavors and aromas which enhance the earthy middle body with a rich silky finish. A touch of Viognier has been added to round out this monster wine.
~Enjoy with any hearty meal or on its own~

Peltier
                Station
  Acampo, California
Certified Sustainable Lodi Appellation Vineyards
2010 Peltier Station Zinfandel
This is not your average Zin! It starts off with subtle hints of cherry and berry aromas which explode onto your palate to highlight the berry presence. Enhanced with white pepper, exotic spices and balanced tannins, the finish is covered with black licorice notes, lingering for minutes.

~Try Blue Cheese or rich Foie Gras with our intense Zin.  Smoked meats will release the spices outlining this wine, while a sweet fig jam and Brie Cheese will entertain even your post dinner desire.~
2009 Petite Syrah
Earthy, peppery, yet caramelized aromas, woven into a mineral, earthy tannic mid-palate, undercut by a chocolate coffee smooth finish.
Although this Petite Sirah is a meal in itself, you will be able to pair it with a wide array of cuisine. A sweet honey mustard salad will showcase the fruitiness, where a sirloin steak cooked to perfection will exhibit the spice.

Elkton, Umpqua AVA, Oregon
2011 Pinot Gris Pace Family Vineyard
The Pace Family Vineyard is adjacent to our Black Oak Vineyard, on a moderately sloping west-facing hillside. The wine has a fruit forward nose of pear, a focused lemon/lime flavor on the palate, and refreshing acidity on the finish. We vinified the wine in the traditional Alsatian manner in older oak barrels, with seven months aging.
2009 Gewürztraminer (semi-sweet)
This vintage was a great one for gewürztraminer which produced intensely flavored fruit. The wine was fermented and aged in small stainless steel barrels, and bottled early to retain all of it’s freshness and zest. The wine contains 2% residual sugar. The wine has a delightful ripe apple aroma along with a honeyed flavor.
2011 Pinot Noir - Umpqua Valley
Grapes from our two estate vineyards as well as three neighboring vineyards were the sources for this wine. It has a complex smoky, earthy aroma, flavors of blackberry and black cherry, and a refreshing finish. The wine was aged in a combination of French and American oak cooperage.
2009 Pinot Noir - Barrel Select
Eight barrels from our total production of seventy six were chosen to produce this bottling. A luxurious texture compliments a hint of smoke in the aroma, a wonderful candied cherry flavor base and delightful complexity. The wine was aged in 38% new Hungarian and American oak barrels.
2011 Pinot Noir - Barrel Select
Grapes from our two estate vineyards as well as three neighboring vineyards were the sources for this wine. It has a complex smoky, earthy aroma, flavors of blackberry and black cherry, and a refreshing finish. The wine was aged in a combination of French and American oak cooperage.
2009 Pinot Noir - Elkton Vineyard
Made exclusively from grapes from one of our estate vineyards, this wine has an herbal aroma with a hint of smoke and a predominately blackberry flavor on the palate. The very hot weather for this vintage made for a supple finish.

Stama
Lockeford, California
A wine grape growing heritage that stretches back five generations to the vineyards of Southern Greece.

2011 Chardonnay
This classic chardonnay is pastel yellow with the faintest hue of lime.  It opens with a white flower nose that includes honeysuckle, almond blossom and white clover.  In the mouth there's a hint of vanilla with a burst of grapefruit, yellow pear, apple and melon, finishing in long butter-creamy notes due to the French oak fermentation.
2005 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon
2 1/2 years barrel aged in French and Hungarian oak, this Cabernet is full bodied; supple tannins with ripe fruits of black plum, black cherry, boysenberry and sweet tobacco in a toasted oak finish.
2009 Merlot

Aged in French Oak.
